Stop doing what you think is best for everyone else

Listen up, you don’t always have to be well-liked by everyone. You also don’t have to do things to make everyone happy.

Go ahead and get that haircut even though your mother says you look so beautiful (to her) with long waves. You know that cute cropped cut
will show off those amazing dangly earrings you bought.

Consider that new job offer even though you may have co-workers trying to convince you otherwise. (Um, hello! Swap lunch chat with aprés-work cocktails!)

Quit wondering “what if” and do it for yourself. Living for others drains your energy and prevents you from reaching your full potential.

So go ahead, and start pleasing yourself.

(I realize what I did there. Cheeky minx that I am.)
